What if your next vacation could help you live a more fulfilled life? In response to a growing global trend toward preventative healthcare, Falkensteiner Spa Resort Marienbad has launched a new longevity program, combining its traditional spa treatments with modern medical diagnostics to promote healthier aging.

With its new comprehensive initiative, the five-star resort, located in the historic spa town of Mariánské Lázně, creates personalized plans to suit the needs of its guests.

“Longevity and preventative health are no longer niche ideas,” explains spa manager Daniel Fajkus. “More and more people are seeking experiences that help them unplug, relax, and learn how to take better care of their bodies.”

Shift toward preventative, science-backed wellness

According to Euromonitor International’s ‘Top Global Consumer Trends 2025’ report, longevity is set to dominate the wellness sector in 2025.

The firm surveyed over 40,000 consumers and found that people are intentionally adapting their wellness routines to live healthier lives. Younger generations, particularly Gen Z and millennials, are leading the way in embracing longevity-focused wellness.

Young professionals aren’t just looking for rest and relaxation anymore,” says Fajkus. “They want to understand their body, prevent burnout, and make sustainable lifestyle changes.”

Falkensteiner’s longevity program offers guests evidence-based approaches that work. It’s not just about pampering massages and relaxing mineral baths (though those are on the menu, too)—each visit starts with a thorough yet comfortable diagnostic screening that includes a uVida metabolic analysis, blood tests, ECG, spirometry, and sleep assessments.

Based on those results, the in-house medical staff and wellness consultants craft an individualized plan around nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, and long-term lifestyle habits.

Crash diets are out - ‘Vital cuisine’ helps build healthy habits

Unlike some wellness resorts that rely heavily on detox trends or overly restrictive routines, Falkensteiner focuses more on balance. The restaurant menu, for instance, is built around “vital cuisine”—a concept that favors seasonal, nutrient-rich dishes full of flavor.

Meals are tailored for guests going through the program. Developed in collaboration with expert nutritionists, the resort’s culinary offerings are prepared sous vide, steamed, and grilled with a focus on vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes. You can indulge in dishes that support metabolic health and overall vitality, enhancing your wellness.

Nature‑powered activities to boost longevity

Popular services like forest bathing, guided nature walks, and physical therapy consultations all complement the resort’s longevity program. The stunning Art Nouveau property also has a modern gym and a yoga area in the garden.

Step outside the resort and explore the town of Mariánské Lázně, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nestled in the Slavkovský les nature preserve just two hours by train from Prague, the area has long attracted visitors thanks to its stunning forested microclimate, historic charm, and world-famous carbonated spring waters.

It’s also home to The Royal Golf Club, established in 1905, one of the most scenic 18-hole courses in Central Europe. A small but active cultural scene comes to life during the summer, with classical concerts and art exhibitions often taking place within the town’s historic venues.

Plans to keep you healthy and active as time goes by

Whatever your goals, Falkensteiner ensures your path to wellness begins with their experts. Fajkus emphasizes that the resort’s multilingual team consists of “doctors, physiotherapists, and spa therapists trained in traditional balneology and contemporary diagnostics equip guests with the tools for long-term wellbeing.”

Guests can choose from three individual plans. The four-night, full-board Longevity Diagnostic Plus package, for example, covers nine treatments, including a dip in the resort’s own Alexandra Spring, a Scottish shower, and a holistic massage, as well as personal training and nutritional recommendations.

For a more comprehensive experience, the seven-night, full-board Detox & Balance package supports you in weight regulation to increase your physical fitness, learn sustainable healthy lifestyle habits, and maintain your long-term weight loss goals.

Full board at Falkensteiner Spa Resort Marienbad includes a rich breakfast and multi-course lunches and dinners, which combine plated and buffet meals and are prepared according to healthy cuisine principles. The price is from EUR 279 per night per person.
