The cost of applying for the U.S. Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) will nearly double at the end of this month.

The U.S. Embassy in Prague announced on X yesterday that from Sept. 30, the fee will rise from USD 21 to USD 40. Czech travelers heading to the United States for short stays are advised to apply before the deadline to lock in the lower rate.
