I offer counselling that combines professional expertise with a personal, supportive approach. As a lecturer and active researcher, I work within the scientist-practitioner model, meaning that my practice is grounded in both well-established psychological theories and the latest research. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural and Existential approaches to provide practical and meaningful support.
I have previously worked for an NHS trust (gaining 4 years of experience) in the UK and bring the benefit of having lived in three different cultures, which helps me understand and support the challenges faced by those adjusting to new or unfamiliar cultures. I offer help with a wide range of issues, including mild anxiety and depression, burnout, cultural and adjustment difficulties, stress and coping strategies, self-esteem concerns, self-development, existential questions, and implementing personal change.
