Prague’s Dvorecký Bridge, now nearing completion after years of delays, will soon link Podolí with Smíchov, cutting commute times, opening up new tram routes, and reshaping the city’s busiest development corridor.

The project has faced repeated delays, largely due to difficult riverbed conditions. Originally slated for January 2025, the completion date has already slipped, possibly raising questions about whether the structure will truly open on schedule next year.
