From the end of this month, Czech Railways will launch its new high-speed Pendolino service on the Prague–České Budějovice (South Bohemia) line. This will shorten the journey time to a little over 1.5 hours while also boosting passenger comfort and amenities.

Notably, the increased speed will make it the fastest passenger train ever operated by a Czech company on domestic tracks. This brings national treasures like Český Krumlov and idyllic towns such as Tábor closer to people who live in the Czech capital. Here's what to expect.
